Awhegeyeuyw Thank you anon 🥹 No matter how many times It happens I always get so giddy & smiley when my work’s complimented ❤️‍🩹 I actually do Colors & Overlays first, and then I grayscale at the very end — I never use 100% opacity on my grayscale layers tho; just enough to bring harmony to the colors if that makes sense 💭 I color everything at the same time by just layering my coloring stuff overtop everything else ^^ I find it much more convenient & easier than coloring things separately, one by one 🙂‍↕️ Thank you again for being so kind, and I’d love to see what your rentrys look like now anon! No worries dude, i gotchu 👍✨ I only actually use the ‘Overlay’ blending mode 4 any and all texture overlays & mess around with the opacity a bit ^_^ That mode gives me a sort of dramatic look that I like 🙂‍↕️ The only time I don’t use ‘Overlay’ 4 textures is when I’m being more experimental & just fucking around and finding out <- Which !! I highly recommend to do !! Just because it is fun !!! Anyway I hope this answered ur question!! I am half asleep at the moment, so please do tell me if I am interpreting it wrong 🌻

Haii! I've been pondering on this question for a while now and I still don't quite know how to answer in a satisfying way, sorry! I'm not really sure what you mean by "clunky" either, but will still try my best!! For more complex things like the Noah rentry or Honey rentry, I never really have a clear plan on what I'm gonna do, so I really just get a bunch of pngs and wing it 😭 For other things like the KuSajou and Tsukasa rentys, I get a black square png, play around with the sizing, add whatever pixels / decome I might like, etc.. Here's an example of what a wip for a rentry like that looks like if that will help you understand better ! If you truly think what you're making looks bad then I completely advise for you to walk away from it for the day and look back on it with a new set of eyes (much) later! ALSO !! VERY IMPORTANT! Do not be afraid to start over !! I do it so much !!! The Tsukasa rentry had so many different iterations before I decided on the final!! That is all I think! This came out to be longer than I thought I'd make it but I do hope it at least answered your question !

It still doesn't feel real that people actually like the things I make SO THANKS A BUNCH 🍀❤️‍🩹 I use various color layers on various blending modes 🙂‍↕️ Contrast is very important, so lighter colors get put on "color burn"/"Darken" blending modes, whilst darker colors get put on "color dodge"/"Lighten" blending modes. I also use overlays that have the colors I desire on them (If I want a pink rentry I'll use pink overlays, etc.) I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE !! That's like the general principles of my coloring process

TONE CURVE TONE CURVE TONE CURVE !!!! TONE CURVE SAVED MY LIFE !!! It allows you to adjust colors and I really just played around with it until it was as nice and bright as I liked! I also highly recommend using saturated color overlays + black overlays for contrast!

I use Alight Motion 😋 ‘Tis a tedious process but : Firstly I separate all my layers and whatnot, position them as I like in AM, animate them using keyframes & effects, export it as an Image Sequence, upload it to my PC (Optional I only do it ‘cuz my PC’s faster), go to ezgif & make it a WebP — I do this instead of making it a gif ‘cuz it retains any faded-like effects on the graphics (Shadows, actual fades, etc) That is.. really loaded but ur free 2 add me on discord @boydere if you need any additional help !! <-- goes for anyone else who needs help !

Hai! I usually just type in “[Theme I want] Aesthetic” in the Pin search bar & find stuff there, though my feed is already heavily curated for images I like, so if you don’t find that all that helpful I also have a board full of images I like !
